This used to be the front of my web-page, two mascot characters for my site. "Table Guy" and Trei.

This reminds me of the time when I came out of nowhere and told my friend that he had the power to unleash the table legs...which meant he could turn his legs into tables.
He was so confused xD. This picture is really awesome, how do you get that affect?

oh and as for the effect, it was done in pencil yea- its not acutally a texture or anything like that (though that might have been a smarter way to do it)

Oh, was it like...a darker type of pencil led? Or regular ol' pencil? Anyway, yeah that power...it was fascinating. It'd be really funny if humans could do that.
TABLE LEGS! >.>

I like this. It has a very...1960's comic vibe to it =3 ...in fact, would you mind sharing how you put this together? I've been meaning to learn how to do style like this!

Hmm well most of it was taken care of by the pencil stage- if I remember right, all of that shading and pencil work is really pencil. Then I would just adjust Levels it after scanning it and have it on another layer set to Multiply. Then color relatively flat colors in a layer below yuss. (I might have had a line-less version of the pic somewhere, though I cannot find it currently... it might be in my old backup HD somewhere)
