Looking with light purple skin and bright green hair. Completely different to how she looked in the ending.
My personal guess is that since the NES had a very limited color palette of how many colors it could display on screen at once, they had to choose a color set that matched most of the scenery so it wouldn't require to change the game's look completely.
The way Samus looked after a speed run from the old games to the newer ones is this: www.metroid-database.com/featu… being NES, Game Boy, SNES and GBA in that order.
the pic is nice... but the colors amuse me. xP strange how the NES version armor is orange and Samus skin is light purple, and the SNES version armor is purple and Samus skin is light orange... ^^ I think I never really realised that before. >~<
Awesome effort for one of the most perfected heroines in fiction, love how your balanced both sections of the armour alongside full display of her healthy figure, best of both worlds. You also got both the FC (NES) & SFC (SNES)/GBA colour schemes perfectly in tone & shade, and high points with your stylization of Samus with slender yet well firm toned curves, esp. with that sharp shoulder points and flowing torso. Anyways splendid job here!
